Learn how Micah began her exotic reptile breeding business.

Growing up, Micah always had a love of animals. She was very active in 4H. As a part of 4H, she learned about the proper care of animals and the best breeding practices.
In 2016, Micah began collecting reptiles. As she interacted with them daily, she became fascinated in particular by geckos. Soon she had a few Leopard geckos. Next, she studied and experimented with different care methods. Her breeding experiments began in 2018.
Soon after this, others wanted her animals and encouraged her to sell them. What began as a trickle of sales rehoming geckos became a side hustle. Micah expanded into African Fat Tailed Geckos.
Because Micah believes in giving animals the best care, it The U.S. Ark is a group that supports reptile welfare. The United States Association of Reptile Keepers strives to uphold the highest ethical standards in the keeping, care, breeding and sale of reptiles and amphibians. This is the U.S. Ark’s Keeper’s Code of Ethics. Micah is a proud member of this group and upholds this ethical code in all she does within her reptile breeding business.
Customers have told others when they have shared their MS Farm Exotics geckos. More and more seek out quality geckos from Micah’s breeding efforts. Steadily this side hustle has grown into a steady business with shows, expos and a steady stream of sales from Micah’s online store.
Looking forward to hearing from more satisfied customers. Knowing customers are enjoying their geckos is very satisfying.
